We aim to be as transparent as we can so if you can’t find the awnswer on this page then get in touch for a chat.
We’ll always do our best to fulfil your requirments and meet your expectations, but it’s important to have things written down so that we both know what’s what, who should do what and when in order to meet deadlines.
Can you explain your pricing?
We work on a flat rate chargeable in 15 min blocks. For some clients we offer a monthly retainer that covers general maintenance and CMS updates.
Are you expensive compared to companies in the UK?
As we all work from home we don’t have any overheads, travel or staff costs so you will find our pricing extremely competitive.
What languages do you speak?
Being Londoners we unfortunately only speak British English.
What currency do you accept and will I have any bank charges for transfers?
For our UK clients we bill in sterling payable to an account in the UK.
Can I reach you by phone?
We make ourselves as accessible as we can and actually suggest speaking to you direct via phone or video conferencing.
I’m just starting my business, can you help me or do you only work with established companies?
We evaluate all potential clients to see how we can work together to move your venture forward.
Will I have to agree to any fixed contracts?
Certainly not! We don’t believe in anything like that so you are free to call upon us as and when you need. In addition to this, you are free to stop using our services at any time.
How do you go about presenting a research proposal?
Some companies do this for free, and other companies will only do it if the client has signed off on a huge project and paid the first deposit. We do this research for a small, reasonable, consulting fee. If you hire us to do the job, we deduct the research fee from the project cost. If you don’t, you would have gained a lot of valuable information at a fair cost.
I’m not a client but my site has been hacked and/or I have an emergency, can you help me quick?
In this case please feel free to get in contact ASAP and we do our best to resolve your situation as fast as we can.
Who owns the copyright for the work you produce?
On request we pass on ALL working files to our clients.
What happens if we don’t like what you do?
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to review our work and provide feedback. We’ll have regular, possibly daily contact so if at any stage, you change your mind about what you want to be delivered and are not happy with the direction our work is taking, we can discuss the issue or we can hand over to another company that suits your needs better.
What do you require from me?
We ask you to guarantee that all elements of text, images or other artwork you provide are either owned by your good selves, or that you’ve permission to use them. When you provide text, images or other artwork to us, you agree to protect us from any claim by a third party that we’re using their intellectual property.
Just to be clear, “Intellectual property rights” means all patents, rights to inventions, copyright (including rights in software) and related rights, trademarks, service marks, get up and trade names, internet domain names, rights to goodwill or to sue for passing off, rights in designs, database rights, rights in confidential information (including know-how) and any other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications (or rights to apply) for, and renewals or extensions of, such rights and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection which subsist or shall subsist now or in the future in any part of the world.
